The Nursery

Nursery 1

I know I know–I’m late in posting pictures of the nursery, so here are a couple shots. Since we didn’t know if Lucas was going to be a boy or a girl, we went pretty light on the colors… mostly yellow, gray, and white. The artwork on the left wall and the quilt draped over the chair were both made for Lucas by friends from our church. Erika (wall-art) and Hailey (quilt) have some incredible talents. The painting near the chair was done by Lizeth Nino, one of our favorite Kansas City artists. Lindsay and I love her personality and her work. You can get a feel for her stuff by checking out this project she did with Keds (the shoes). The small robot painting is by Gabe Lanza, and the other two paintings were done by Lindsay and myself.

Nursery 2

At a baby shower given by the girls from our church, everyone decorated a unique onesie for Lucas (below). They turned out great, and he’s been spotted around town sporting a couple of these already.
